In the concept space, he seeks to develop and partner in “emotionally restorative” experiences that breathe life into each guest through environments that delight, service that connects, and products that restore.
An artisan dedicated to the extreme details of his craft, Ryan is the co-founder of Aviation American Gin with craft spirit pioneer House Spirits Distillery, Oven and Shaker Pizzeria and Bar in Portland’s Pearl District with six-time James Beard nominated chef Cathy Whims. and a strategic partner in the 1927 S’mores Company brand. Additionally, Ryan has received recognition from around the globe for his recipes and perspectives in media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Food and Wine, Bon Appetit, Wallpaper, and Men’s Health among many others.
